Terms
License and terms of sale for ZenTheme Pro, sold by ZenTheme Lab, run by a private individual based in Sweden.
The license
ZenTheme Pro is sold as a Standard license ($299) or a Developer license ($449). Either one gives you a license to use the theme on a single Zendesk account. Standard includes every theme feature and setting. It is a one-time fee, not a subscription: the price you pay includes 1 year of updates and email support from the date of purchase. After that year, the theme keeps working; you just stop receiving new versions and support unless you renew.
Developer license
The Developer license includes everything in Standard, plus access to the theme’s full source code through Zendesk’s “Edit code” feature. You may modify the templates, CSS and JavaScript for your own Help Center. You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense or share the theme or its code, modified or not, with anyone outside your organization. Support is the same as Standard. Updates are delivered until you edit the code; once the code has been edited, Zendesk no longer delivers new versions to that copy. Changes you make yourself are not covered by support.
Launch offer
The first 10 buyers of either license get a free 30-minute setup call, claimed by emailing hello@zenthemelab.com with the Marketplace order. It is not conditional on anything else.
Trial before you buy
ZenTheme Pro is distributed through the Zendesk Marketplace, which includes a 14-day free trial. The trial lets you preview the theme in your own Help Center before paying anything; it does not activate the theme live for your visitors.
Refunds
Use the 14-day trial to evaluate the theme before buying. Once ZenTheme Pro has been activated live on your Help Center, the purchase is final and we do not offer refunds.
No warranty
ZenTheme Pro is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. ZenTheme Lab is not liable for any damages arising from the use of the theme.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden.
Setup and consulting
Done-for-you setup ($249) and consulting (from $90/h) are separate, one-time services booked directly with us and are not covered by the theme license above.
